Tuscany’s Governor Eugenio Giani has officially set the dates for the region’s upcoming election. Voters will head to the polls on October 12 and 13.
This election is one of seven regional polls scheduled to take place across Italy this autumn. The other regions are Aosta, Puglia, Calabria, Campania, Marche, and Veneto.
Of the seven regions, three are currently governed by center-left leaders, including Tuscany. The other four are led by center-right governors, with the exception of Aosta, which has an independent centrist administration.
